Bendigo Pottery, 1974

This ceramic mug is a caricature of Sir Robert Menzies. It is a very distinct and identifiable depiction, and is undeniably Frith; it closely resembles Frith’s cartoons of Menzies.

This particular mug does not have the glaze applied, so the signature and ceramic work is more clearly visible.
